In Loving Memory of Stephanie Marie Brandt

October 20, 1991 – November 1, 2025
Stephanie Marie Brandt lived her 34 years with extraordinary strength, compassion, and grace. Diagnosed with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome (LDS), a rare connective tissue disorder, Stephanie faced a lifetime of medical challenges that tested her body but her spirit remained resilient. Through countless surgeries and procedures, she met each obstacle with courage, humor, and a determination that inspired everyone around her.
Stephanie’s journey with LDS shaped her into the fiercely compassionate person she became. She devoted her life to caring for animals, from the countless pets she nurtured at home to the wildlife she rehabilitated through her work at the Humane Animal Welfare Society and the Wildlife In Need Center. Her empathy, perseverance, and quiet resilience were the hallmarks of her life.
Those who knew Stephanie often described her as a miracle, not only for the odds she defied, but for the light she brought into every space she entered. Her ability to find joy in small moments and to care deeply for others remains a lasting lesson in love and strength.
To honor Stephanie’s life and continue her fight, her family invites you to make a donation to the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation, an organization dedicated to advancing research, awareness, and support for individuals and families affected by LDS. Your contribution helps carry forward the hope, compassion, and courage that defined Stephanie’s life.
